A couple of years ago I did a special tribute to the African-American [and African-Canadian] women of wrestling. I thought it was time to do that again. This time I am only using my own images for the current wrestlers and scans I’ve done from my collection of wrestling magazines for the older ones. I hope you enjoy them. These wrestlers had to overcome the dual obstacles of gender AND race. We’ve come a long way, I think, but it’s always a good thing to remember the pioneers.
