Brittany Force Retains DCW Title!
In a tumultuous battle that had the fans going wild, Brittany Force retained the DCW women’s championship belt in action against TNA Knockout Roxxi Laveaux. In what must be considered a major upset, Ms. Force pulled out all the stops to keep her hard-earned title against a woman who is considered one of the best in the sport. As should be clear from the photo above, those ’stops’ included a good deal of questionable tactics, including timely assistance from her manager ‘Marvelous’ Matt Bish. But this was no cakewalk for Ms. Force as Roxxi lived up to her reputation in this match, giving as good as she got and nearly pinning Brittany on more than one occasion. In fact, Ms. Laveaux was preparing to set up Brittany for her finisher, the Barbie Crusher, when Ms. Force beat her to the punch and executed a spinebuster that left the TNA star easy prey for the winning pin.
The tension leading up to this match was only exacerbated during earlier women’s action at the DCW show. While the team of Lorelei Lee, Sassy Stephie, and Sara Brooks was celebrating their win over Angel Dust, Morgan Rockafeller, and Autumn Breeze (with manager Tawnya), Brittany Force made an unprovoked attack on Lorelei Lee, a long-time foe at DCW. The vicious attack was broken up only when Roxxi Laveaux ran into the ring to make the save. The two wrestlers then had a faceoff that nearly had the intensity of Ali-Frazier! Their own match nearly started then and there when Ms. Force gave Ms. Laveaux a shove. This incident only added fuel to the fire for the wrestlers’ later title match.
During the title match, Lorelei Lee made her presence known, distracting Brittany long enough for Roxxi to nearly get a pin on her. It is not hard to imagine that Lorelei will soon be making her own challenge for the title and DCW fans will be looking forward to that seemingly inevitable showdown!

Roxxi Laveaux Out for DCW Gold
TNA Superstar Roxxi Laveaux has so far come up short in her quest for the TNA Knockout title. Now, it seems, she is looking for other titles to ease her disappointment at TNA. So, this Saturday, in beautiful downtown Hastings, PA, DCW women’s champion Brittany Force will have to defend her title against Ms. Laveaux. So far, Ms. Force has held her title securely, turning aside challenges from Sara Brooks, Autumn Breeze, and Sassy Stephie. But this match will undoubtedly be Brittany’s greatest challenge yet. Not to mention Roxxi’s popularity will certainly mean the capacity crowd will be in the challenger’s corner. Brittany Force and her manager ‘Marvelous’ Matt Bish have been known to bend the rules to get a win. Roxxi should be warned that those two will no doubt use all the skills and tricks they know to keep Ms. Force DCW champ. Folks, this should be a match to remember!
Plus, DCW will be featuring a massive 6-woman tag match, pitting Lorelei Lee, Sara Brooks, and Sassy Stephie against Angel Dust, Autumn Breeze, and Morgan Rockafeller.

Wrestlin’ Wally’s Wayback Machine
I just discovered a ‘cache’ of pictures from my pre-digital days. Some of these have been posted here and there, but some have never been seen by the general public. I will post these albums as I can. They will stay up with the current albums for a few days, then I will move them to their proper order. The first installment is from NWL/HoPWF action back in September ‘05. Cindy Rogers won their ‘Ladies of the Ring tournament, competing against Amy Lee, Luscious Lily [now Missy Sampson], Debbie Sue, Kacee Carlisle, Stacy Hunter, Ferrari, and Shannon LaVey. Interestingly enough, all of these women are still actively involved in the wrestling scene.
