Diamond Championship Wrestling saw not one, but TWO titles change hands at last month’s show in beautiful downtown Hastings, PA. The first involved a defense of the DCW Women’s Title by fan favorite ‘Diva’ Sara Brooks, who had wrested the belt from Brittany Force only in October in a special casket match. Her challenger was the diminutive Angel Dust, who though short in stature, proved to be well-schooled in the arts of rule-breaking. In spite of this, Sara was on the verge of flattening Angel with her backflip splash, when Brittany Force appeared on the scene. The bad blood between these two runs so deep that Ms. Brooks postponed finishing her match to have a few choice words with Ms. Force. Angel took this opportunity to grab the title belt and nail the champion in the head with it. With Sara out cold, Angel got a quick pin and the women’s championship. Then, in a truly despicable act, and under the direction of Brittany, Angel proceeded to dislocate Ms. Brooks’ arm. Sara was saved from further injury only when the PA Posse ran into the ring, driving Brittany and Angel out. The PA Posse was joined by Honey, who asked for and got a title match against Angel Dust at the December DCW show. Stay posted for more exciting developments.

Brittany Force, having managed through her protege Angel Dust, to steal the belt from arch-rival Sara Brooks, was not content with this coup. In October she had issued a challenge to ‘Diamond’ Troy Justice for his DCW U.S. Title. Apparently unable to resist the temptation to take the title from Mr. Justice in his last ever wrestling match, Ms. Force may have bitten off more than she could chew. Ms. force was not without outside assistance – from her manager, ‘Marvelous’ Matt Bish; from Zubov, who gave Troy a slam at the beginning of the match; and even from Brittany’s ally Angel Dust – but Brittany insisted that she wanted to win this one on her own. Ms. Force certainly pulled out all the stops, lifting her far larger opponent off the mat more than once. But in the end, Mr. Justice showed why he held the title for as long as he did, getting the 3 count on a devastated Ms. Force. But in a move that shocked the entire DCW fan base, Mr. Justice conferred the U.S. title on Brittany as a token of his respect for her skills and moxie. Now one might have expected Ms. Force to return the respect, but such was not the case as she and Mr. Bish left the ring, showing nothing but disdain for Troy and the fans, and acting like the belt belonged to them. Brittany seems immune to all attempts to put her on the straight and narrow path! But will she be able to keep the title against the long line of MALE challengers waiting in the wings at DCW?
