Ms. Eagles, who had earned the respect and admiration of SHIMMER fans in her earlier appearance, won no love from them as she suddenly copped a smug and overconfident attitude, epitomized by her new gear, which read “I ‘heart’ ME” (as in Madison Eagles). Madison won the title shot after a very controversial win over Cheerleader Melissa, in which her feet were clearly in the ropes as she pinned the fan favorite. But in the title bout, she pinned MsChif cleanly after hitting her with her devastating Hellbound finisher. MsChif, having defended her title against the very best in women’s wrestling today for nearly two years, seemed as shocked by the result as everyone else. Only Madison Eagles herself showed no signs of surprise as she carried her dominance of women’s wrestling in the Antipodes all the way to the shores of Lake Michigan.
