Kentucky’s newest independent wrestling promotion had its inaugural show last week. One of the orders of business was to crown a first-ever A1WA champion. Venus faced off against fan favorite ‘Amazing’ Maria. The back and forth nature of the action was not to Venus’ liking and so she took from hiding a pink chain which she used to send a crushing punch to Maria’s jaw. Venus got an easy pin with that and was adorned with the title, however ill-gotten! But Maria has already called for a rematch, which will take place at A1WA’s next show in Louisville, KY on December 1.
