Little Bit of Destruction: L’il Bit and Destiny

The Magnificent Ladies’ Wrestling Tag Team Title has been at the center of controversy of late. After the Rockettes had been stripped of the title for failure to defend, the newly formed tag team Smokin’ Justice, consisting of noted rulebreakers Jennifer Justice and Nikki Lane faced off against the team of Allison Danger and Leva Bates. Allison and Leva won the match, but MLW Commissioner, the devious Veronica Fairchild, awarded the belts to Smokin’ Justice for having ‘done a good job’ in their match. In December, Smokin Justice gained some credibility to their claim by actually defeating the Rockettes. Fortunately, at that same taping, the ‘Queen of Destruction’ Destiny teamed up with L’il Bit to challenge Smokin’ Justice for the belts. Destiny said then that the team had just formed and that she and L’il Bit would have to train together to gel as a team, but that come January 21st, they would be ready to take down Smokin’ Justice and take their ill-gotten belts as well. Smokin’ Justice readily accepted the challenge. But some commentators wonder if they might rue they day they did so. L’il Bit has been on a winning streak at MLW, defeating many women far bigger than herself and Destiny … well, Destiny has been leaving a wake of blood and broken bodies behind her as she has worked her way through the MLW roster. Folks, this match is gonna be BIG! It MUST happen! But SPONSORS for the match are STILL NEEDED! I’m a little behind the times on this one, but in a stunning upset on November 20, in beautiful downtown Georgetown, Kentucky, UWF new comer L’il Naughty sent ‘Hardcore’ Heather Owens packing, becoming the new UWF Vixens Champion. Heather was in control most of the match, bending and honestly even breaking the rules every chance she got. But Ms. Naughty caught Heather by surprise with a DDT, which she quickly converted into a pin. Congratulations to L’il Naughty who has quickly become a fan favorite at UWF. Kentucky’s newest independent wrestling promotion had its inaugural show last week. One of the orders of business was to crown a first-ever A1WA champion. Venus faced off against fan favorite ‘Amazing’ Maria. The back and forth nature of the action was not to Venus’ liking and so she took from hiding a pink chain which she used to send a crushing punch to Maria’s jaw. Venus got an easy pin with that and was adorned with the title, however ill-gotten! But Maria has already called for a rematch, which will take place at A1WA’s next show in Louisville, KY on December 1. Her name is Kaila and she has been training at the Ohio Valley Wrestling training school. She is scheduled for the special OVW ‘Homecoming’ card on Sunday, December 11. In a recent Facebook post about her upcoming match, Kaila noted: “SOMEBODY’S face is going to be to the floor Dec. 11th…not this one!” Fierce!
